Program Description
Event Details
Explore technology and coding in this club for kids looking to get hands-on experience using different tech!
In this series, we'll be using our 3D Printer. We'll demonstrate how to use Tinkercad.com to design one-of-a-kind 3D objects. Students will have the option to use Tinkercad to create a design or draw a design using an Apple Pencil that we can print as a flat object. Our goal is for students to create a unique print that they can pick up later at the library. We'll have our 3D Printer running during the sessions.
This is a two-program series where we build on what we learned in each session. Attendees must attend each session. We will not go over computer basics; attendees are expected to know them, including mouse and keyboard use. If they'd like to use the iPads and Apple Pencils for drawing their design, they should know the basics of using a tablet.
This program is for youth entering grades 3-7.
